Sweet bitter Mombasa employment puzzle.

on the mention of Mombasa in kenya every other person thinks of the beauty and the wonderful moments that are luckly to be spend on this island. Many kenyans have gone to an extent of naming this city "MOMBASA RAHA".
Many people who talk of this great city in kenya focuses on the beautiful beaches, the happy moments they spend sleeping and playing on the sands of mombasa,
the historical sites like Fort Jesus,Wasini island,Halar park just to mention afew amongst others not forgetting the international and lucrative restaurrants across the beaches and any other breathtaking scenary in this small island.
.For most mombasa is the place to be during the festival seasons and the times one is off duty and wants to take some time to refresh from heavy duties including those of building the nation. Besides all this wonderful and refreshing moments that one may spend in mombasa have you ever thought of M staying in Mombasa and at the same time hustling to make life out of it as the only mean of survival?? Mombasa just as any county in Kenya is swaggering in terms of jon opportunities for its residents.Mombasa is faced with a very wide range of unemployment. Most of the youth in Mombasa is facing unemployed probe and this has created chaos in this beautiful peaceful island. Lack of jobs has led to emergence of of small gangs among the youth which walk around carrying pangas, rungus and knives which are used by this rascals to rob passer bies in the broad daylight without fear.Almost in every house during the day you will find the unemployed sleeping simply because they have no where to go and work. Its high time for both the county goverment of mombasa and the national goverment does something inorder fo provide employment for the its residents inoder to counterract the growth of those gang who are at times called "Mateja".Due to lack of job this youth decide to engage in su h law breaking activities inorder to get money to achieve tjeir daily enjoyable life in the beaches and in the entertainment joints. Once my grandmother told me, "Kuingia Mombasa ni rahisi lakini kutoka ni balaa", I realise that grandma had sense on that matter since when I combine the unemployment and the Raha in this Mombasa Raha I see it hard going out of Mombasa. When the unemployment puzzle in Mombasa it will mark the end of some of the holigan acts already witnessed in some of its part.
