Senagal are the new kings of African football. Senegal yester night beat egypt on 4-2 on penalties in the final to win the 2021 African Cup of Nations(AFCON) that was held in cameroon.Mohamed Abdelmonem and Ahmed Fatteh missed Egypts's penalties giving advantage to senegal. The teams played the normal 90minutes match but neither team managed to score at the back of the net ,the match remained goalless in the 30 minutes extra time,leading to penalt shoot outs. On the 6th minute Sadio Mane penalty which would have given senagal an early lead was saved by Egypts goolkeeper Mohamed Abou Gabal(Gabaski). Edourd Mendy denied the Egyptian star and Captain Mohamed Salah a chance to score on two occasions despite the star's determination to score in the finals.
